These are just a few of our favourite things to do in and around Barmston and Bridlington, many of which are free:
Bempton Cliffs RSPB Seabird Centre
Bridlington Animal Park
Bondville Model Village
Burton Agnes Hall
East Riding Leisure
Flamborough Head Lighthouse
John Bull Sweet Factory
Yorkshire Belle Boat Trips
Park and Ride
During the summer months it’s a good idea to use the Park and Ride service into Bridlington. The site is open from 7am until 8pm (with the last transport from the town being at 6.15pm).
The site is well sign-posted from the main route into the town (SatNav YO15 3QN)
The car park has spaces for over 1,000 cars. There are toilets and a couple of cafes on the site.
Buses run from the park and ride car park to the town centre every 20 mins during peak periods, and there’s also a land train which the kids will love.
As at summer 2020, the cost is £5.00 for all-day parking, the cost includes a return trip into Bridlington by bus/land-train for up to five people.
East Yorkshire Daily Tickets
If you’re planning a few local trips in a single day, the East Riding-Wide Daily ticket is excellent value for money. The parking ticket allows you to use any long stay pay and display council car park in the East Riding of Yorkshire on the date of issue. It works out far cheaper than buying individual tickets.
Most machines in and around Bridlington accept cash, card or phone app payments.
There are no restrictions on dogs at Barmston beach.
Please check signs at other sites.
